helpful staff beautiful decor private terrace poor breakfast missing chairs rickety bed

The staff were helpful and very kind. The hotel decor was beautiful with attention to detail! I was very happy with the superb private terrace.

The room was inferior with a very poor breakfast. There were no chairs in the room to relax in at the end of a long day sightseeing. The shower was only warm most of the time. I found the bed to be very rickety and noisy.

impractical layout inconvenient elevator

i had reserved a beautiful junior suite. the room was not quite what i expected. it felt smaller than the pictures suggested, a bit crammed with antique furniture and excessive draperies.. the layout seemed impractical, with wasted spaces. also, the elevator stopped one floor above my room, so i had to carry my luggage down a flight of stairs, quite inconvenient.

noise level dated decor

The location was fairly central which was convenient for getting around.

The noise from other guests was a real issue, particularly late at night and early in the morning. Thin walls meant I could hear conversations and movements. The decor felt quite dated. The room needed some updating to justify the price.
